Refer patients to in-network home infusion providers
Last modified: April 17, 2024
Update: Change to existing authorization wording in regards to authorization, termination date.
Beginning July 1, 2024, we’ll limit home infusion services to in-network providers for members enrolled in New York situs groups. This means patients may have higher out-of-pocket costs if you refer them to an out-of-network home infusion provider.
This change affects fully insured commercial plans, including Oxford products/plans, with the following effective dates:
- Large group – new or renewing on or after July 1, 2024
- Small group – new or renewing on or after Jan. 1, 2025
For members who have an existing authorization, those will be honored through the authorization, termination date provided.
