An interim rate letter is used to determine reimbursement for services. Submit your new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) interim rate letter (IRL) to:

  • Ensure you’re reimbursed at the correct interim rate
  • Help reduce claims reprocessing

Out-of-network providers, submit your Medicare letter to us either by:

In-network providers, continue to submit your letter to your UHN network manager. Please also fax or email a copy to the out-of-network fax or email listed above, to help ensure any out-of-network rates are updated accordingly.

IRL submission tips

  • Provide a contact name and information (phone, fax or email) with your submission
  • Submit your IRL as soon as you receive it to help reduce claims reprocessing
