Review Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership CPW program changes
As of Dec. 1, 2024, we no longer require prior approvals or requests for follow-up visits to the Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) Children and Pregnant Women (CPW) program services.
This change is in response to TMHP’s recent announcement of removing required prior approvals for these services, which can help our members access care faster.
New submission requirements
For CPW claims on or after Dec. 1, 2024, you’ll need to upload documentation for each comprehensive claim using the following approved health and human services commission (HHSC) documents:
- CM-01A, Referral and Intake
- CM-02, Family Needs Assessment
- CM-03E-S, Service Plan
- CM-03ConE-S, Service Plan Consent
For CPW claims before Dec. 1, 2024, prior approvals are still required.
