Oklahoma: Stay in our network, file all claims
Starting July 1, 2024, you may have received a letter in the mail from UnitedHealthcare regarding your claims activity within the last year. The notice was to inform you that we’ll be terminating network care providers who’ve not submitted claims within the past 12 months.
State mandate
Oklahoma law requires UnitedHealthcare and all health insurers to remove inactive health care professionals who have not informed us they’d like to continue participating in our network.
Who’s affected?
This state requirement impacts all contracted care providers in our network. You won’t be able to treat UnitedHealthcare members if you’re no longer a part of our network.
Next steps
Please confirm if you plan to continue participating in the UnitedHealthcare network. Notify us within 30 days of the date of the letter you received in the mail by completing the following that apply to you:
- Professional service providers – Complete attestation in the My Practice Profile application on the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal, or on the CAQH website. You may also email your current roster to uhn_central_providercontracts@uhc.com with a copy of the letter you received in the mail.
- Ancillary/facility/hospital – Send an email and a copy of the letter you received in the mail to uhn_central_providercontracts@uhc.com. It’ll be reviewed by your network account manager.
