Previously we identified an issue that prevented ambulance providers (ground and air) from completing a claim entry on the UnitedHealthcare Provider Portal. The issue stemmed from the “Select Billing Provider Address” option being blank, and the inability for a user to manually add the address.
This issue was updated with a portal fix that was released on Dec. 13, 2022.
With the current update, when the provider selects “YES” for ambulance, they now have the option to select a billing address, which allows for ambulance claims to be submitted as intended.
