Important AHCCCS Medical Policy Manual 510 revisions
The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Medical Policy Manual (AMPM) 510 was recently revised. AMPM 510 revisions now clarify and strengthen coordination and collaboration between primary care providers (PCPs) and behavioral health providers (BHPs). Please review the updated policy to help ensure that you’re following the modified requirements.
Who’s affected
The AMPM 510 updates apply to the following network health care professionals and/or services:
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona
- AHCCCS Complete Care (ACC)
- Developmentally disabled (DD)
- Arizona Long Term Care System Elderly and Physical Disability (ALTCS EPD)
