Jan. 1, 2024 updates to Individual Exchange plans PDLs

Beginning Jan. 1, 2024, we’re making prescription drug list (PDL) updates for UnitedHealthcare Individual Exchange plans, also referred to as UnitedHealthcare Individual & Family ACA Marketplace plans. This will include medication tier updates, prior authorization requirements, changes to non-formulary status and exclusions from coverage for 19 states.

How we’ll notify members

We’ll communicate with members in advance to allow time for prescription adjustments before the effective date.
