Get paid for hearing tests

Don’t forget, you can submit a hearing test for payment even if a member doesn’t turn out to be a candidate for hearing aids or doesn’t proceed with a purchase. To get reimbursed, you’ll need to upload a hearing test or manually enter the hearing test values. Then, properly complete the hand-off in the UnitedHealthcare Hearing Provider Portal.

Please complete the following steps for a timely payment:

• Upload file or manually enter the member’s hearing test within the opportunity
• Enter information into required fields:
  • Type of test — Pure tone or comprehensive
  • Hearing test date
  • Provider license number
  • Hearing test provider name
• Click Save once file has been uploaded or entered
• Hand off opportunity within the portal as “HT Only - No Purchase” as indicated in image, and click Save
